National Science Week at The Royal Society of Victoria
Maps! with Julian O’Shea - Sunday 16 August

National Science Week got off to a fantastic start with a sold-out Maps! event featuring comedian Julian O’Shea. An audience of 100, ranging from pre-teens to seniors, laughed out loud at Julian’s hilarious “map” stories from across Australia. The afternoon continued over refreshments, with plenty of conversation and a chance to see Julian’s newly released Unknown Melbourne Map. Presented by Geography Victoria as an Inspiring Victoria event, with support from the Royal Society of Victoria, it was a memorable afternoon celebrating maps, geography and the joy of seeing our world differently.
