This is what Geography Victoria is doing to advance the promotion of Geography and the Environment in Victoria:
- Organising a diverse range of quality activities and events, including forums, panel discussions, lectures and fieldtrips, to promote and advance an understanding of the environment.
- Increasing public awareness and education of the environment through the publication of a broad range of geographical resources
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders and the wider geography community
- Support and encourages geographical submissions to appropriate authorities on the management of environmental and social issues in Australia
- Recognise Victorians who have demonstrated notable achievements in Geography.
